What's new.

Honest release notes in plain language — no changelog soup. Newest first.

0.3.2

  • A fresh, on-brand installer window — new background and volume art for the launch build.
  • Behind the scenes: tightened the release security gate and kept my version stamps in lockstep across the build so every download is exactly the one that was signed.

0.3.0

  • Signing in now opens your browser to the real account portal, with device-token handoff back into Roz.
  • First run has a warmer, clearer setup path: a handwritten hello, local-password-before-identity ordering, explicit password recovery guidance, fresh location confirmation, preview-day setup, and proactive Full Disk Access guidance.
  • Feedback is now built in through the Help menu, so bug reports and notes can reach support from inside the app.
  • Common recovery actions are easier to reach: reconnect a source, resume a source, request a permission, or forget/correct a person without dropping to a command line.
  • Permission prompts are quieter and better attributed, packaged builds carry the signed platform manifest, and storage, deep-link, and release-preflight hardening landed under the hood.

0.1.3

  • First launch on a brand-new Mac now goes smoothly. A fresh install could stumble before I had a home folder to settle into — fixed, so I open and get to work from the very first double-click.
  • The helper that keeps me running in the background now ships inside the app itself, as one sealed piece. Nothing separate to install, nothing to drift out of sync.

0.1.2

  • I can update myself now. When a new version is ready, I'll offer it right inside the app — no re-downloading, no digging through your inbox. If you like living a little closer to the edge, you can opt in to early beta builds.
  • Installing me feels right: a cleaner, branded install window that shows you exactly where I go.
  • Fixed a first-launch failure on a clean Mac — an unused security entitlement made macOS refuse to open me even though signing and notarization were spotless. It's gone, and I open everywhere now.
  • Every release is now install-tested on a fresh, Gatekeeper-enabled Mac before it ever reaches you.
